The Young Readers Center opened its doors in October 2009 to young people accompanied by an adult. It provides a Library of Congress experience uniquely suited to younger readers. The center is open 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Saturday and offers story time for infant and toddlers every Friday (except holidays) at 10:30 a.m. Parents and guardians are advised to check the Young Readers Center website or call the center at (202)707-1950 for information about story time and other activities.
