 Adverts posted to the ‘Talent Talks’ site, which is a casting agency for various tv programmes and adverts, show that the NHS has been looking for a variety of actors to play several different roles including hospital patients, and care home residents, as well as to play out scenes which include bus journeys and partying in night clubs. Each actor is to be paid around £120 per day and will be Covid tested upon arrival, according to the ads. Some of the scenes have already been shot, whilst others are taking place on September 24th. The following is what we discovered on the Talent Talks site so far – Source Source What’s interesting to note here is that the ad does not describe actors being needed for a television advert like the others, so we will have to wait and find out what the footage will be used for.  We are limiting the sale of e10 to £20 per person NOT because of shortage but because the sheer volume of traffic is causing chaos and distress to our many elderly residents in the village. We are keeping the flow of customers going. This categorically HAS to be a short term measure. Industry has been VERY naive to just sit back and hope that everything will come out in the wash fine, following Brexit (not withstanding that there is a shortage of drivers across the continent). Industry had several years to start training up UK based people (British or with ILR) and improve pay and working conditions. Flooding the market again with cheap, overseas labour is simply a sticking plaster job. Funny that there's no food or petrol shortages here in Portugal!. It seems that whatever direction you look in the UK the current government are screwing the country up badly, blaming it on everyone and everything else and not taking any responsibility themselves.

 If people hadn’t been conned by the Tories, the Tory press and indeed the Tory controlled BBC news room, into voting for this disaster that is Brexit, we wouldn’t be in this mess, nor having this conversatio. At least 20,000 HGV drivers were lost to the UK and its economy as a consequence of Brexit alone - this current fact was predicted by many working in the transport industry; and , until, the past few weeks, ignored for years, by the Tory government - par for the course. Congratulations BBC. Yet again you have created mass panic buying for no reason at all. Your broadcasting licence should be suspended immediately and the muppets you employ to REPORT, not make!, the news should be sacked. The chaos I've just seen at my local petrol station is because YOU said petrol was scarce. They even have a notice up saying, and I quote, "Reports by the BBC that there is a petrol shortage is false and misleading.

But there are families desperately wanting kids that will be able to. It also depends on each person's individual situation. That is how they say my friends baby had birth defects but they gave birth to the baby and nothing was wrong with the baby perfectly okay and he is doing well. I think Heidi is taking this too personally, it actually doesn't affect her or her rights or others not respecting her life. Where I grew up in Wales there was a boarding school/home for children with Downs, some of whom were RC, the local parishioners went every Sunday to bring some of the children to Mass...this included at Christmas time. Most were noting the irony of Suffer little children but clearly their very absent parents were ok with this. The issue is leaving it so late.

 It’s not a case of not respecting life or the life of those with Down’s syndrome but allowing people to make a terribly awful choice, they are not going to terminate late term on a whim and are not allowed to either as there is strict protocols in lace for a late term termination. At the end of the day of an issue is not detected before 24 weeks but it turns out your child is incompatible with life or will live life severely disabled and possibly in pain then you have the right to make a choice. In my opinion if you abort a child at the age where survival at birth is possible then you are no different then a murderer you can do many test before 24 weeks to find out if their is any disability’s so you have plenty of time to decide what to do but to leave it that long then think you know what it’s to hard so il get rid is wrong if you feel you can’t cope at the end stage then there is always adoption there is plenty of families that would love that little one and would be more then willing to take them on.

The Babylonian Jewry Heritage Center in Or Yehudah has provided videos on Iraqi Jewry such as "Jewish Wedding in Baghdad." The Ministry of Education sent the Library two films on the Druze community in Israel: "The Druze" and "Son of Abraham." The Library has also received films from the Israeli Police on "Combatting Terrorism -- The Israeli Experience." Renanot (Institute for Jewish Music) and Bet Hatefutsot (Museum of the Jewish Diaspora) are among the exchange partners providing the Library with sound recordings of the music of various Jewish communities worldwide.

  Originally scheduled to open in the fall of 1996, the exhibition will have a three-month stay in Washington, and then travel to the Jewish Museum in New York and the Sigmund Freud-Museum and the Austrian National Library in Vienna. Additional venues may include California and Brazil. The exhibition will feature more than 170 vintage photographs, prints, films, manuscript letters and documents and first editions of many publications from the Library's collection of more than 80,000 Freud items donated over the past four decades by the Sigmund Freud Archive. These materials will be supplemented with loans from the Freud Museum in London; the Sigmund Freud-Museum in Vienna; and other important collections.   which is a division of the American Library Association (ALA), in cooperation with the Genealogical Publishing Co. The award, consisting of a citation and check for $1,000, will be presented on June 29 during the ALA's Annual Conference in Washington. "Through her dedication to public service and to her profession, [Reid] has made outstanding contributions to reference librarianship and is an inspiration to her RUSA colleagues," according to an announcement of the award. As a senior reference specialist and head of the reading room, Ms. Reid is responsible for development of the Library's U.S. and foreign genealogical and local history collections. A frequent lecturer at national and international conferences, she is a recognized specialist in British Isles local history and genealogy. With a 1994 Fulbright Fellowship for Research Librarians, she spent three months in London and published the results of her research, Genealogical Research in England's Public Record Office:
