Modern fireworks are much louder and safer than years ago, and therein lies the problem. They should be banned from general purchase and a noise restriction imposed on all public licensed displays. There are better more modern alternatives to outdated, overly noisy and expensive fireworks. For us the New Year's Eve fireworks may be magical and exciting, but for many animals this night is associated with an incredible amount of stress! In some cities, the New Year's Eve crackers are even prohibited.
