However, the article goes on to say a jury acquited an ex swat commander for murdering someone who popcorn thrown at them bit mental. This story is so bizarre. The headline is ridiculous! How about, elderly man saves jet skier only to have shoot him in self defense? I didn’t realize BBC had to make such an effort to get people to read their stories. Having read the article, I see nothing wrong here. They were on a lake, the guy was behaving aggressive to two elderly people on a boat (after having been rescued twice by the same couple). What if he had tossed the old man or his wife off the boat? He didn't have to be armed to be a threat, the situation itself was dangerous.
