Christine Whitelock Yes, and when you want to travel to a place where certain vaccines are required, you can simply make an appointment to get jabbed. But that's not an option now, is it? People have to wait their turn, which means millions won't be able to get the jab until the third or fourth quarter, if not next year. That's the issue. When people consciously choose not to take the jab, that's a different story. But would it be fair to deny people the option of seeing their families after 18 months forced separation, just because they're too young to have been offered the vaccine? European's have a real distrust of the AstraZenica vaccine, which is so sad for all the incredible scientists who worked on it, however the UK government has not made us look trust worthy on the international stage so I'm not surprised there is resistance to AZ and that many Europeans would prefer to wait for the Pfizer vaccine.
