  I’ve been in lockdown for 8 months straight now and I’m not abusing my partner. Takes a special type of person.Sorry to break it to you but there are more than 7 billion people on this planet and everyone has a different personality/demeanor and assuming everyone will react in the same circumstance as yourself is too naive.Oh wow. It’s almost like I already knew that, but people who abuse others would have abused them in any stressful or other situation. It is not BECAUSE of the lockdowns. Well mental illness plays a huge part in situations like that. And abusers are considered to be a mental illness of sorts. They can seek therapy. They can change. But a lot of abusers don’t realize they are abusing and it’s also usually stemmed from their own unresolved childhood trauma.
