Is it just me or is one of the men saying 'forget the little one just leave it' reality is calves are taken from their mums when they are very young. Male calves are of no use to dairy farmers so most are slaughtered at only a few days old. Where are the female calves? Did they drown? Given only adult cows would have been able to keep their heads above water it is safe to say they did.poor souls are the lucky ones imagine how many animals were left to drown. Thank you to the kind people who rescued them. Animals are the inocent souls who suffer at the hands of mankind who are busy destroying the planet through greed and selfishness. We all need to stop the out of sight out of mind attitude and remember that our actions have a direct impact on the other species on the planet.So many landslides killed so many animals it will take decades to recover and this is very sad.The loss of life both human and all of the animals is so heartbreaking.
